25 volunteers going to each farm
Our Earth day Volunteer event is a little over a week away, so I wanted to check in. As you know, we are planning on bringing volunteers to both Ivanhoe Community Garden and Young Family Farm on 4/22 from 2-4pm. At the moment we have around 25 volunteers going to each farm, so we should be able to accomplish a lot!
I spoke with Alan last week about potentially building beds at one of the YFF locations which sounds like a great project. Nadine – do you know what we might be working on at Ivanhoe? Additionally, if there are any tools or supplies you would like us to bring, please let me know!
Lastly, we’re having a happy hour celebration afterwards at our Westport Commons location with beer, a tamale truck, and an Earth day cake and we’d love to see you there!
